June 1997

Received School Board approval to start a JV Football Program

July 1997

Formed non profit corporation.  Registered with the State of New Hampshire and received 501(c)3 recognition from the IRS.

Fall 1997

Equipped 26 players and played a 6 game schedule, 5 away / 1 home at Donati Field in Hooksett

 

School Spirit Activity
  ~  Operated concession stand during soccer and field hockey games to help raise money and encourage increased attendance at games.
  ~  Sponsored 1st Annual Homecoming Bonfire for Fall Sports to help raise "School Spirit".  Attendance of approximately 65 students.

Spring 1998

School Spirit Activity
  ~  Operated concession stand during baseball, track and softball games.   Again to help raise money and increase attendance at games.
  ~  Held 1st Annual Football Variety Show at PA.  Attendance of approximately 60 people.

Fall 1998 

Equipped 32 players (23% increase) and played an 8 game schedule, 6 away / 2 home at Donati Field in Hooksett

 

School Spirit Activity
  ~  Sponsored 2nd Annual Homecoming Bonfire.  Attendance approximately 185 students (285% increase!).
  ~  Continued to operate concession stand for soccer and field hockey games.

Spring 1999

School Spirit Activity
  ~  Held 2nd Annual Variety Show.  Attendance approximately 250 people (416% increase!).
  ~   Continued concession stand operation for track, baseball and softball games.

Fall 1999

Equipped 40 players (25% increase) and played a 10 game schedule, 8 away / 2 home

 

School Spirit Activity
  ~  Operate concession stand for field hockey and soccer games.

Fall 2000

First varsity year as a Division III team with separate schedules for varsity (4 away / 4 home) and junior varsity (5 away / 3 home)

 

 

 

Community Activities

1997

Participated in Pembroke/Allenstown and Epsom Old Home Days to raise both funds and community awareness of the football program.

Brought players down to the Hooksett Pop Warner program to work with youngsters on developing football skills.

1998

Participated in Pembroke/ Allenstown and Epsom Old Home Days.

Continued working with Pop Warner program youth.

Participated in National Make A Difference Day.  Football players and their parents volunteered to do odd jobs for the elderly in Epsom, Chichester, Pembroke and Allenstown.  Completed projects for 25 elderly couples ranging from washing windows to raking leaves.

1999

Participated in Epsom, Hooksett and Pembroke/Allenstown Old Home Days.

Co-hosted 1st Annual Pembroke Academy Road Rally/Scavenger Hunt with Field Hockey Booster Club.

3rd Annual Homecoming Bonfire - open to alumni and residents as well as students.

National Make A Difference Day

Began publishing the Annual Community Calendar with Birthdays, Anniversaries, etc. listed for community members.
